3       Welsh Government Financial Support for Business: Evidence session with the Welsh Government

3.1 Members questioned Andrew Slade, Sioned Evans, Duncan Hamer and Emma Watkins as part of their inquiry into Welsh Government Financial Support for Business and particularly focussed on the economic impact of Covid-19.

3.2 There were a number of actions points which Andrew Slade agreed to send additional information to the Committee.

3.3 The Chair advised the witnesses that he would write with the questions that were not reached.

5.1 Members considered the evidence received and it was agreed that the Chair would write to the Welsh Government with the Committee’s views.

6       Inquiry into COVID-19 and its impact on matters relating to the Public Accounts Committee’s remit: National Audit Office Report

6.1 The House of Commons Public Accounts Committee will consider the recent National Audit Office Overview of the UK Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic at their meeting during the week commencing 15 June 2020  and invited the Committee to submit any views it may have.

6.2 Members noted and discussed the Report and the Chair will write with views in time to be considered at their meeting.

7       Effectiveness of Local Planning Authorities in Wales: Consideration of draft report

7.1 Subject to a minor addition, the Report was agreed and arrangements will be made for it to be published in June 2020.
